Company History

Love and Son Nursery has been owned and operated by 4 generations of the Love family starting in  1943 when Troy Love opened the doors on Ross Street in Amarillo, Texas.  Their son Ray Love  joined the business in 1945 and then in 1972,  Ray's middle daughter Connie and her husband Jimmy Patterson decided to join the family business.  When they decided to retire, their son Jimmy Patterson II, who has worked alongside his family his whole life, has the honor of continuing his family's legacy. 

Love and Son Nursery wants to be your outdoor living specialist serving you with our  retail nursery, irrigation and sod installation, artificial turf installation, and landscape design and maintenance.  We can also hydro-mulch for larger spaces.  We have a large selection of trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, and hanging baskets in stock and welcome the public.  We also offer the service of seasonal tree and shrub feeding for both your home and business.
